Students in grades 1–4 from CEJHS spent a memorable day celebrating Earth Day at McCully's Center. Surrounded by nature, the young learners took part in a variety of hands-on activities that brought environmental education to life.
Throughout the day, students explored the outdoors, learned about different animals, and discovered the basics of gardening. One highlight was creating beautiful bookmarks made from flowers, giving each child a special keepsake to remember the day.
The celebration also included a picnic lunch, where students relaxed and enjoyed time together in the fresh air. Laughter and excitement filled the grounds as everyone embraced the spirit of Earth Day.
