Early Dismissal
🤩❤️On May 15, the third graders at CEJHS gave an outstanding performance of the musical “An Amazing Animal Adventure”. This play was a culmination to a science unit on animal adaptations, where the children actually had to conduct real research to complete a report on animal adaptations of various animals, including penguins, camels, octopuses, chameleons, and alligators. Each student then took over the role of one of these animals and taught the audience about the adaptations that they have in order to survive in their environment. A lot of practice went into this 30-minute performance, and all of the students did amazing! 🎤🎥
The first grade students celebrated their hard work this afternoon with a special Author’s Party after publishing their very own book. As an added treat, local author Emily Cresswell visited to share her book, The Day Coop Met Every Dog, with the class. It was a fun-filled afternoon with so much to celebrate and enjoy!
