👟🎨Throughout September, CEJHS students have been learning about empathy — understanding what it means to “walk in someone else’s shoes.” To bring this lesson to life, students participated in a coloring contest focused on the theme of empathy.
Our students showed wonderful creativity and thoughtfulness as they explored what it means to care for and understand others. 💛
👏 Congratulations to our coloring contest winners, and great job to all who participated! We’re proud of our students for continuing to show kindness and empathy every day! 👟🎨

🔴⚫️Congratulations to our CEJHS Students of the Month for the character trait of Empathy for the month of September! We are so proud of you! 🔴⚫️

Our 8th-grade students have started an incredible legacy project, which they'll work on for the next 4-6 weeks. The project began with a read-aloud session, after which our students partnered with kindergarten friends. Together, they explored the kindergartners vision for a monster, which our students then helped bring to life on paper. These drawings will serve as the blueprint for our students to create a plushie, turning their kindergarten friend’s imagination into reality.
