On November 20, 2025, CEJHS celebrated National Family Literacy Day with a family literacy night. It started with a read aloud with Mrs. Heil and then stations where students got to fish for words and letters, design their own bookmarks, make a yummy camping snack and more! Also, the book fair was open and students and families had an opportunity to purchase lots of great new reading material! Huge thanks to Mrs. Michelle Krysl, CEJHS librarian, for her organization of the event. Also, thanks to several CHS NHS students, PTO members, and CEJHS staff for their help in running stations and prepping materials. We “Embraced the wilderness of learning” together and had a wonderful night! Special thanks to the CEJHS PTO for sponsoring three winners to receive $25 to spend at the book fair after their names were drawn. Happy camping, and happy reading, everyone!
